Michael Rusch

December 6, 1953 — March 2, 2014

Michael A. Rusch was born on December 6, 1953 and passed away on March 2, 2014, at the age of 60. Mike had a 40 year career at Holt Cat. He started Holt in the parts department then spent the remainder of his career managing the Fluids Lab. Mike was a member of the Laredo Trail Ride for 30 years and was also a Life Member of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. Mike loved hunting, fishing, being outdoors and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed spending time with his animals on his ranch. His parents, Guswin and Elsie Rusch preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Debbie; son, Mark Rusch and wife, April of Mansfield, Texas; daughter, Melissa Luza of Schertz, Texas; grandchildren, Faith, Cameron and Blaine Rusch and Kailey and Kinsey Luza; brother, Kirby Rusch and sister, Diana Kovacs. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 6, 2014 starting at 10:00AM with a Memorial Service to begin at 11:00AM, at Schertz Funeral Home, Pastor Robert Pierce officiating.
