Michael Hampton

March 26, 1951 — January 1, 2014

Michael K. Hampton, born on March 26, 1951, passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2014, at the age of 62. After retirement, Michael enjoyed gambling, computer time, and spending time with his family and friends. He never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone he met. The loves of his life were his wife, children, and grandchildren, and he will be greatly missed by all. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Dolores; son, Ram; daughter Michelle Negron and her husband, Ernesto; grandchildren, Matthew, Tatiana, Alicia, and Tristian; parents, Berkley and Ella Mae Hampton; brother, Donald; mother-in-law, Benita Luna; several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at 9:00AM, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 1065 E. Live Oak Road, Schertz, Texas, with the rosary and Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00AM, Father Saturnino Lajo, OMI, officiating. All services will conclude in the church. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, a donation in Michael's memory may be made to your favorite charity.
