Michael Habersang

February 29, 1960 — May 30, 2014

Michael Neal Habersang went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2014. He was born on February 29, 1960, in Montgomery, Alabama, to Russell and Dorothy Habersang. Michael was a faithful follower of Jesus and his faith was revealed in all aspects of his life; as a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. His life touched many and his passing leaves all that knew him with a tremendous sense of loss and the exceptional blessing of having been touched by his way of showing love for us all. His love for teaching and children led him to be constantly active in church activities for children as a Sunday school teacher. The love which Michael had for children was magnified many times over by his love for his niece and nephews. Michael graduated from Judson High School in Converse, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Dorothy Habersang, and his nephews, Patrick Krueger and Cody Habersang. Survivors include his sisters, Cheryl Rapelye and her husband Sparky of San Antonio, Texas, Randi Richardson and her husband Sandy of Cabot, Arkansas, and Terri Krueger of Live Oak, Texas; brother, Russell Habersang and his wife, Audrey of Nolanville, Texas; nephews Ryan Rapelye, Danny Rapelye, Rich Richardson, Shawn Richardson, Andrew Krueger, Casey Habersang, and Zachary Habersang; niece, Charissa Habersang.
