Michael Patrick Dolan

Michael Patrick "Pat" Dolan, 66, passed away in his home in San Antonio, TX on March 23, 2025, after a long battle with cancer.

Pat was born February 27, 1959, in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Peter Michael Dolan and Mary Elizabeth Dolan.

As a teenager, Pat was involved in the local community theater, Zaulk Trail. He also took hang gliding lessons and learned to fly a small Cessna airplane.

Pat joined the Marines in March of 1977 where he served four years and was honorable discharged in April of 1981. Most of his time in the Marines was spent in California, but he did spend some time in Okinawa, Japan.

Pat is survived by his 2 sisters, Siobhan Hammil and Dorothy Shelton (Walker); his brother, Christopher Dolan; 10 nieces and nephews, and 9 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Mary Dolan; grandparents, Orville and Mary Dolan, and Rexford and Dorothy Brown; his brother in law, David Hammil; and great niece, Isabella Tavernier.

A visitation will be held Monday, March 31, 2025 from 5pm- 8pm. April 1, 2025 there will be a committal service at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, at 10:15 am, Shelter 2.
