Merdith Dee Joy

Merdith Dee Joy passed away on January 23, 2025 of advanced age. She was born on February 21, 1933 in Cathcart, Washington in King County to parents Willie Clarence Ray and Verna Ruby Howell. 

Family Members: 

Susan P. (Anthony Vander Heyden), Grandson Anthony R. Vander Heyden, Granddaughter Anna M. (Vander Heyden) and Shaun Wamer, and their children. 

Son, Tomas F. Joy (Darnell), granddaughter Emily Joy, grandaughter Amanda (Joy) and Husband Carl Zohrer and their two sons. 

Son, Craig L. Joy (Rochelle) and grandson David. Beloved sister, Lynne L. , (Myron Boyle) and children and families. 

Brother, William (Bill) Ray, predeceased Merdith in 1962, Bill's son and family. 

Numerous nieces, nephews, and their families survive her in the Ray and Joy families.

 Merdith will be buried in Glacier Park Memorial Cemetery in Kalispell, Montana with her beloved husband of 54 years, Robert Leonard Joy. 

Burial will private at a later date, there will be no memorial service.
