Maxine Emily "Tita" Sandoval was born on February 11, 1943 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Surrounded by her loving family, she went to be with the Lord and was reunited with her mom, Chonita, and two sisters, Marie & Pansy, on August 21, 2016, at the age of 73. She passed away peacefully in her sleep after a hard fought battle with cancer.
She managed to always find a way into the hearts of everyone she met with her kindness, strength, and selflessness. Her love and compassion brought people together. Her positive attitude allowed her to see the best in each situation. Her unforgettable smile and laughter were contagious.
She gave her all to spend more time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She constantly put others before herself and her strength was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. As an example of her strength, she battled and beat cancer four times. For the love of her family, she fought up to the very end.
She retired after 30 years in Civil Service as a secretary for the Inspector General's Office. For 20 years, she worked two jobs to support her family, also working as the Junior Program Director at Brunswick Thousand Oaks Bowling Center. She loved being busy, working hard and coordinating the leagues for the children at the bowling center. She loved reading, playing iPad bingo games, watching Cowboy movies, and traveling to see her sisters.
She is survived by her children, Ed & Cres (wife) Kellerman, James & Cherryl (wife) Kellerman, Connie & Terry (husband) Andrews, and Patricia & Jesse (husband) Mack. Sisters: Irene& John (husband) Lucero, Mary Christina & Joe (husband) Rael, Jackie & John (husband) McBroom, and brother Raymond Sandoval. 11 grandchildren: Amber & Chris (husband) Puchot, Tyler Bradley, Jessica King, Rachel King Sandmann & Brandon (husband), Jordan & Mackenzie Kellerman, Trevor & Holly (wife), Brooke & Trenton Becker, and Tyler & Alyssa Mack. 11 great grandchildren: Tobriah, Kaylie, Mitchell, Lyla, Arabella, Joshua, Memphis, Jazmyn, Alexis, Zoie, and Lillian. Her beloved dog: Flacko.
Rest in peace Tita, no more pain...
