Mathew Charles Jackson, of Converse, TX, passed away on August 31, 2013 at the age of 29. Mathew is survived by his wife Erica Fitts and son Jasper Jackson; parents Janet and Jerry Meyers of Marion, TX and Randy and Eloise Jackson of Live Oak, TX; sister Natasha Jackson of Cibolo, TX; brother and sister-in-law Patrick and Jenifer Jackson and nephew Levi Jackson of Schertz, TX; parents-in-law Gary and Carmen Fitts of Garden Ridge, TX; stepbrother Chris Meyers; stepsisters Tracey Meyers, Kara Salinas and Amber O'Halligan In addition to being a loving father and husband, Mathew worked as a server at 29 Wine Bar. Visitation is from 4:30-8:30pm Thursday, September 5, 2013. Funeral services are 10:00am Friday, September 6, 2013, both at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel - 2217 F.M. 3009, Schertz, TX. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery - 17501 Nacogdoches Rd., San Antonio, TX 78266. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund is being set up for his son Jasper Jackson.
