Mary Wagner

Mary Geraldine (Geri) Hartung Wagner, age 94, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away on Saturday December 29, 2018. Geri was born to Fred H. and Emma K. Brown Hartung on February 14, 1924. Geri enjoyed Praising the LORD and reading the Bible, her favorite verse was John 3:16 and the verses that followed. She also enjoyed scripture crossword puzzles and attending church. She had a lovely voice and it was a true gift from our Father, she also wrote songs and poems. Geri was preceded in death by her husband Eddie A. Wagner, sons Dennis Edward Wagner and Fred Christian (Chris) Wagner, parents Fred and Emma Hartung , and sister Winifred Kathleen Hartung . Visitation will begin on Tuesday January 15, 2019 at 10:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at Schertz Funeral Home. Interment will follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Marion, TX.
