Mary Sullivan

March 18, 1912 — May 18, 2010

On May 18, 2010, Mary Ann Gilbert Sullivan went home to be with her Lord at the age of 98. She was born in Millville, Arkansas, on March 18, 1912, the third of six children of Lon and Roxie Gilbert. She attended Ouachita Baptist University and was retired from the Baptist Sunday School Board following many years of employment at the Baptist Book Store in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Joe B. Sullivan, one sister, four brothers, and her daughter, Sandra Sullivan Mills and her husband, Thurman Mills. She is survived by two daughters, JoAnne Malesky and husband, Gary and Mary Patricia Gill and husband, Joe; five grandchildren, David Malesky and wife, Lisa, Scott Gill, John Mills, Ellen McClellan and husband, Matthew, and Ashley Burris and husband Scott; and six great grandchildren; Laura and Allison Malesky, Kathryn, Caroline, and Courtney McClellan, and Jake Burris. Mary loved the Lord and her family. We will miss her tremendously until we see her again. A Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 24, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Universal City. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
