Mary Lou Potter, age 70, of Cibolo, TX, passed away on May 1, 2010. She was born on June 18, 1939 to Melvin Oller & Dorothy Jane Brooks in Dilley, TX. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Oller; mother, Dorothy Dixon; step-father, B.F. Dixon; mother & father-in-law, Elton & Eunice Potter; sister, Renee; uncles, Ed, Bill & Cecil Brooks and great-grandson, Connor White. Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband, Noah Keith Potter; children, James Potter & wife, Pam, Loretha White & husband, Allen and Lucretia Sanchez; brothers, Wayne McCombs, Richard McCombs, Benjamin Dixon, Claude Dixon, Ara Lee Dixon, Tom Brooks & their spouses; sisters, Carolyn Michaels, Wanda Rousse & their spouses; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren & numerous other relatives and dear friends. For Mary Lou, family was her absolute joy. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and friend. She loved helping others and was active in her church family. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM (with Visitation beginning at 10:00 AM) on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Cibolo Valley Baptist Church, with Pastor Gene Tone officiating. A Graveside Service will be held at 9:45 AM on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
