Mary Mckelvie

March 5, 1939 — November 11, 2011

Mary Jane McKelvie, daughter of the late John and Essie Rivers, of Dorchester, South Carolina was born on March 5, 1939 and passed away on November 11, 2011. Mary was an employee and retiree of Sikorsky Aircraft (Connecticut). Mary was a loving and caring person who always spoke her mind. She was a member of the House of God Church (headquartered in Nashville, TN) for many years until she joined the NCCF Church in Texas. Mary leaves two cherish sisters: Ruth (South Carolina), Hattie (Connecticut) and brother, John (Pennsylvania); host of nieces and nephews; mother of two children, James and Sharon McKelvie, adopted daughter, Renee (Texas), grandson, Romello Valentine, and loving friends, including her favorite son-in-law, Matthew (brother) Holbrook of Texas. Visition will be Friday, November 18, 2011 at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00PM to 7:00PM, with a service to start at 7:00PM.
