Marvin Wiggins

July 18, 1949 — June 8, 2014

MSgt (ret.) Marvin Ray Wiggins was born on July 18, 1949 and joined his friends and family in heaven on Sunday, June 8, 2014. He was 64 years old and is preceded in death by his mother Oma Wiggins and brother James Wiggins. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years with overseas service in both South Korea and Panama. After retiring from the Air Force in 1987 he went on to various jobs, but he truly found the most enjoyment and satisfaction out of his work as the custodian of the Schertz United Methodist Church where he was an active member. He is survived by his wife of almost 39 years, Joyce Wiggins; son Phillip Wiggins and his wife Fiona; and grandchildren Carter and Harrison Wiggins. Funeral arrangements are being made by the Schertz Funeral Home for a private family ceremony at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
