Marlena Rene Wyrick born in Torrejon, Spain on December 11, 1987 passed away in San Antonio, Texas on July 4, 2013 at the age of 25. Marlena resided in Spain, Victorville, CA, Valdosta, GA, and finally in Schertz, TX where she graduated from Samuel Clemens High School in 2006 and went on to Mims Classic Beauty School. She was a social butterfly, full of laughter, pretty on the inside and out, but very curious about others as well as being the center of attention. There wasnt a mean bone in Marlenas body as she expressed great love toward her family and friends. Marlena cherished the sights and sounds of Christmas movies and music all year round as she spread joy to everyone around her. With an outgoing spirit, Marlena was passionate in music, dance, gymnastics and being pampered. She aspired to become a nurse, thus graduated from Kaplan College as a Medical Assistant in 2013. Marlena loved the Tennessee Vols and was a diehard and dedicated fan. Marlena is preceded in death by her Grandfather, Walter L. LaDelle and Step-Grandfather; Mike Camper. She is survived by her parents James and Roberta Wyrick, Sister Jamie Wyrick, Grandmothers, Joyce Davis and Carol Camper, Fiance Bryan Coffman, Sons, Caden Wyrick, Blake and Zachary Coffman, Grandfather, Daniel Coffman, Grandmother, Rose Coffman, Step Grandfather, Jerry Davis, Aunts, Nikki Kile, Crystal Garcia, Esther LaDelle, Uncles, Monte LaDelle, Hank Garcia, Tommy Kile, Cousins, Casey LaDelle, Garrett LaDelle, Taylor LaDelle, Lauren Kile, Great Aunts, Kay Whetsell and Wanda Vargo, Godmother Lisa MacKenzie and Godfather Terry Sweat. Family will receive friends at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 10:30AM with the Funeral Service to start at 12:00 noon. All services will conclude in the Chapel In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the Schertz Funeral Home payable to Bryan Coffman for the benefit of Marlenas Children.
