Mark Hagen

June 2, 1956 — May 19, 2011

Mark Evan Hagen, born on June 2, 1956, passed away at age 54 on May 19, 2011. He is preceded in death by his father, Henry R. Hagen, Jr. Mark is survived by his mother, Dr. Nancy Hagen of Schertz; sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen and Howard Mauch of Corpus Christi, Elaine and Andy Newcomb of Adkins and niece, Sherry Mauch of Austin, TX. Mark spent his life as a drug abuse counselor in Austin and helped numerous people find their way back from the depths of drug and alcohol addiction. He was a remarkable man with a generous and loving spirit and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends and those whose lives he changed. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM (with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM) on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Schertz Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 23, 2011 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 1065 E. Live Oak Rd, Schertz, TX 78154.
