Marissa Hartman

Marissa Rissa Rae Hartman, age 14 of Cibolo, TX, passed away on June 11, 2010. Marissa was born on July 7, 1995. She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Pilat. Marissa is survived by her mother, Terri Hartman of Cibolo; grandparents, Marlene Hartman and Adella Lee, of San Antonio; sisters, Kristen and Jessica Hartman, both of Cibolo; brother, Larry Pilat of San Antonio; aunts, Betty Hagerty and Donna Condra of San Antonio, Patsy Sibigroth of Round Rock, TX and uncle, David Pilat of San Antonio. Marissa had a passion for animals, and wanted to own an animal shelter one day. She loved to go fishing with her daddy. She always put everyone else first and herself last. She was very creative and loved making arts and crafts for everyone. She loved hanging out with her family. Marissa was very interested in music and was always singing around the house. She was and will always be completely loved and admired by her family for her big heart. We will miss you Rissa. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on June 21, 2010 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 11:30 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
