Marion O'Grady

December 9, 1922 — April 27, 2009

Marion E. (Walsh) OGrady, longtime former resident of Roseland, NJ, died April 27, 2008 in San Antonio, TX. A beloved wife, mother and grandmother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert F. OGrady, and her eldest daughter Maureen OGrady. She is survived by her brother Terence Walsh of St. Louis, MO, three sons, Robert, Timothy, and Kevin, two daughters, Mary Beth and Jane Ellen, and 11 grandchildren. Marion lived in Roseland from 1957 to 1990, raising her family and working in real estate sales and administrative support positions. She and her husband Bob were founding members of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, where she was active in the Rosary Society and the choir. She and Bob retired to Spring Hill, FL in 1990, where they enjoyed golf, travelling and attending St Michaels Church. With Bobs passing in 2005, she moved to San Antonio to be near family. There will be a Memorial Mass at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Roseland, NJ, at 11 a.m. on July 11, 2009. Internment will follow at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
