Marilyn grew up as a farmer’s/teacher’s daughter. This is the reason Marilyn loved being outside so much. Spending time at Padre Island and Canyon Lake brought her much happiness. She was an avid gardener making sure to share her bounty with her family and friends. She loved to cook and was ready to prepare anything at the drop of a hat. In recent years, playing Bunco and cards with friends brought her much joy.

The family wants to thank Megan and Lorri of Angels and Seniors Living and Jennifer of Utopia Hospice for their loving care during her recent illness. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
