Marie Rifenbury age 75, of San Antonio, passed away July 9, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents Margarito & Guadalupe Cortez, & husband Fanklin Rifenbury. Marie is survived by her sons, Phillip & wife, Karen of Beareerton, OR, Charles of Fort Worth, & Edward & wife, Charlene of Spring Branch; niece; Alma Van Nest & husband, Fitzgerald of Boerne; grand children; Jamie, Jennifer, Amber, Ashley, Reshonna , Brianna & Arthur; great grandchildren; Seth & Dillon.Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at Schertz Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 11:30 AM on Monday, July 13, 2009 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Interment to follow immediately after service at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
