Marian (Kraus) Pevehouse was born January 31, 1940 to George and Helen (Struthers) Kraus near Jefferson (Grant County), Oklahoma and left her earthly home August 15, 2017, in San Antonio, Texas. Marian is survived by Robert Pevehouse, her husband of 37 years; son, Steve and Sharon Powell; granddaughters, Stephanie Powell and Allison and Stefan White; twin great-grandchildren, Magnolia and Rocco Powell; step-son, Robby Pevehouse and step-daughter, Sunny Pevehouse; sisters, Marjorie Fainter of Wichita, Kansas and Nancy Bowling of Blackwell, Oklahoma. Marian was predeceased by her parents; son, Brian Powell in 2012; brother, Robert George Kraus in 1971. Marian worked many years at Tex-Tek Plastics as an administrative assistant, and is well remembered for her demand of exceptional work performance on the job and at home. The memorial service for Marian (Kraus) Pevehouse will be at 10:00AM, Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Thousand Oaks Christian Church located at 13007 Jones Maltzberger Road, San Antonio, Texas; with Gary Walters officiating. Visitation with the family will follow after the service at the church. Final resting place for cremains will be at Memorial Park Mausoleum-Niche located North US Hi-way 81, Enid, Oklahoma, with service scheduled for September 2, 2017 at 10:00AM. Memorials may be made to Thousand Oaks Christian Church, 13007 Jones Maltzberger Road, San Antonio, TX, or the charity of choice.
