Maria Gonzalez

Maria L. Gonzalez was born on October 9, 1940 in Cibolo, Texas, to Luis and Jesusa Martinez Sr. Our heavenly father mended our mothers' broken heart on December 14, 2015; as she was rejoined with our father Adan, after six months of being apart from each other. Maria is preceded in death by her brothers, Anselmo Martinez of Woodburn, OH, Delsino Martinez of Asherton, Texas, Luis Martinez, Jr. of Slanton, Texas, and Juanito Martinez; sister, Helen Davila of Portorville, CA. She is survived by her sons, Adan Danny Gonzalez of Schertz, Texas, and Carlos Gonzalez of Schertz, Texas; daughters, Cindy J. Gonzalez of Schertz, Texas, and Adriana (Diane) Lamberth and husband Frank of Washington , DC; sister, Esparanza Ortiz of Asherton, Texas; brother Joe Martinez of Asherton, Texas; and numerous grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2015, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00PM, at Schertz Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015, at 10:00 AM, at Schertz Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
