Maria J. Boyer, born on February 10, 1944, in Corby Northants England, passed away on August 3, 2013, at the age of 69. Her parents, William and Elizabeth McVeigh, sibling, John McVeigh preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, CMSgt Gail L. Boyer, USAF (Ret.); daughter Theresa A. Anderson; grandson, Brandon M. Anderson; sisters, Elizabeth Clark and Francis Taylor and brother- in-law David Taylor; 4 nephews, 4 nieces, and many cousins.. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 9, 2013, from 6:00PM " 8:00PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM at Schertz Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 9:00AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 1065 E. Live Oak Rd., Schertz Texas (210-658-4350). Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to a Cancer Foundation of your choice.
