Marcus Rodriguez

Beloved brother, father, son, nephew, grandson, cousin, and friend, Marcus Anthony Rodriguez passed away on Sunday July 3, 2016, at the age of 33. Marcus was to born to Rudy Rodriguez and Sally Chavez Stroer on Tuesday February 15, 1983, in Andrews, TX.

Marcus is survived by his beloved daughter Jezreel Seliah Rodriguez, his brother Vincent Ray Rodriguez, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. He loved his family and always enjoyed spending time with them during the holidays. Marcus was a die-hard Spurs fan he showed his silver and black colors every chance he got. Music was a part of his life whether singing in choir, in the car, or playing various instruments. He was known for his imagination and using his artistic talent to bring that to life. Marcus was a huge Game of Thrones fan, loved playing cards, fishing, volleyball, and video games. He was fiercely independent and head strong. Qualities we loved most of the time. Marcus had a love/hate relationship with the Dallas Cowboys that was always fun to witness. He never met a stranger and reached out to help anyone he could. His smile, sense of humor, and kindness will still continue in all that he touched in this world.

We ask you to help us celebrate his life Saturday July 9th, at Schertz Funeral home located at 2217 FM 3009 Schertz, TX 78154. Viewing begins at 9:AM, Service will follow at 11:AM. Reception at Mikulski Hall 509 Schertz Pkwy Schertz TX 78154 from 2-4 PM.
