Lyssa Mari Stallings, born on February 11, 1973, passed away on September 18, 2014, at the age of 41. Survivors include her sons, Steven Anthony Stallings, and Daniel Luis Stallings; parents, Dr. Luis and Magda Castellanos; brothers, Dr. Luis G. Castellanos and his wife, Kim, and Dr. David A. Castellanos and his wife, Lorelie; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many, many friends. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, and a caring nurse, who will be deeply missed. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 25, 2014, from 5:00PM-9:00PM, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00PM, at Schertz Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, September 26, 2014, at 10:30AM, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 16075 North Evans Road, Selma, Texas 78154. All services will conclude at the church. In lieu of flowers, the Stallings Educational Fund has been established for her sons, Steven and Daniel, at American Bank of Texas, 4917 FM 3009, Schertz, Texas 78154.
