Lucinda Baros

May 14, 1947 — February 24, 2015

Lucinda Loa Baros aka ("Cindie" and "MiMi"), passed away at home on Tuesday February 24, 2015. She was born on May 14, 1947 in Oswego, New York. Cindie attended Highlands High School in San Antonio, Texas, graduated in 1965 and had been making plans on attending her 50th Class Reunion. She is survived by Ben Baros, husband of 40 years, son Adam Baros and wife Jamie, daughter Loa Blankenship and three beautiful grandchildren, Brendan, Karly and Lillian, whom she absolutely adored as well as brothers Bob Lane, Jay Lane, sister Patricia Cooper and many nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews. After a career in the retail business as a Personnel Manager, Cindie "retired" and started her own business running a children's home day care. Many of "Cindie's Kids" as they are known remain friends to this day and have children of their own. Cindie left us to be with her God, Mother Winona, Brother George, Skipper her childhood dog, Tigger I, II (our shar peis) and Lady our German Shepard. To know Cindie was to know the handi-work of God. She was very Spiritual in nature and strongly believed in the principles of love, dedication and hard work which showed in her everyday life. Though we are extremely sad to say she is no longer here in body she is also no longer in pain from the ravages of diabetes. Lucinda Loa Baros aka ("Cindie" and "MiMi"), you will be dearly missed! A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, March 2, 2015 10:00am, at St. Monica's Catholic church in Converse, TX.
