Lorraine Emma Walsh Maracle Lorraine Emma Walsh Maracle left this earth on May 17, 2012. Words cannot express how much she will be missed by her family, friends, and colleagues. Lorraine was born in Tamworth, England on September 8, 1967. She moved to San Antonio from Canada in 1992, and worked for 15 years as a Registered Nurse in the ICU at area hospitals. Lorraine was a devoted mother to her three children, Stephen 23, Hayley 17, and Austyn 15. She is survived by her children as well as by her mother and stepfather, Carol and Dick Parker, her sister and brother in Law, Michelle Walsh and Kevin Sutcliffe, her nephew Joshua, her stepsister Kristina Ziegler and husband Brad, nephews Ayden and Ben, and stepsister Leslie Chen and husband Oliver, nieces Alivia and Taliah. She is preceded in death by her Nanny Dolly, her father Tony Walsh, and her trusted companions Goldie and Bentley. Lorraine will be remembered by all for her warmth and gentleness, her smile and laugh, and her sense of humor. She used to tell her friends that butterflies and dragonflies were the souls of people who had departed. Now, Lorraine too, is a butterfly. Now she is free. A Memorial Service will be held in her honor at the Japanese Tea Gardens, 3853 N. St Marys St. on Friday, May 25 from 6-8 pm.
