Loren Dean Thoman, 61 of San Antonio, Texas died Wednesday February 5, 2020 at NE Methodist Hospital. Loren was born March 5, 1958 in Concordia, Kansas and moved with his family to San Antonio Texas in 1964. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Joyce Thoman, brothers Neal and Mark Thoman, grandmother Allvine Worley and mother in-law Margaret Roberts. He married Ruth Ann Miller on September 28, 1991. He has 2 step sons, Christopher Golson, wife Denise, and Clinton Golson. Four grandchildren, Cayla, Carson, Casey and Caitlyn. Loren had a love for old cars, and music, and was an avid race car enthusiast. He worked as a Tow Truck Operator for 35 years until he retired in 2015. Survivors include father in-law Doyle Robert's of San Antonio, a sister, Sherry Grinnell of McKinney, Texas, sister in-law Shawn Miller-Schneider of San Antonio, brother Kelly Thoman, wife Susie of San Antonio, brother Troy Thoman, wife Brenda of Goldendale, Washington. One niece, Tracy Malone, husband C.J., three nephews, Teddy Grinnell, wife Cristy, Brian Thoman, and Ryan Schneider, ﬁve great nieces, 3 great nephews and 1 great great nephew. There will be a visitation only from 5pm to 9pm on Monday February 10th at Schertz Funeral Home 2217 F.M. 3009 Schertz, Texas.
