Lloyd "David" OConnor was born on September 28, 1957 in Washington, D.C, passed away on April 10, 2014, at the age of 56. David attended High School at Rutherford High School in Panama City, Fl. He attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas. David was currently employed as a Securities Broker at Tidal Petroleum in Schertz. He has been with the company since 1999. David served in the United States Navy. David was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, The American Legion, The National Chapter of the Harley Owners Group and a member of The Local Chapter Alamo Harley Owners Group. David loved life and enjoyed it to its fullest. He enjoyed riding his Harley with Bonnie in the Hill Country, watching sports, spending time with friends, and his dogs and cat. He shared his holidays with his fiancé and her son, Joseph. He loved the State of Texas! He enjoyed spending time at home and barbecuing in his backyard! He had a very quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor! He will be deeply missed. David was preceded in death by his father, James O'Connor; mother, Patricia O'Connor and brother, Tommy O'Connor.David is survived by his fiancée, Bonnie Martin and her son Joseph Martin; daughters, Laura O'Connor (Tyler), Stephanie O'Connor; grandson, Damien Lee Traugott; grandmother, Mildred Denney; aunt, Deborah Korge (Tom); brother, Dale O'Connor (Evelyn); sister, Lynn Dixon; brother, John O'Connor; brother, Shannon O'Connor (Rose); sisters, Kasey O'Connor (Jennifer) and Colleen Harris (Robin), along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 8:00AM with a memorial service to be conducted at 10:00AM at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
