Linda Nelson

January 28, 1952 — March 23, 2011

Linda H. Nelson, age 59 of Converse, passed away on March 23, 2011. Linda is preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Holland; sister, Delores Holland; father, George Holland; mother, Francis Holland and many wonderful aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband, James Nelson; in-laws, Christel Bowman, Janene Smith & husband, Dale and Lonnie Nelson; aunts, June Cannon, Mac Cannon and Anita Milner; uncle, Harbey Weiding; cousins, Robert Biedrzycki, Tanja Olnick, Tami Kensing, Trena Jacques; nieces and nephews, Chelsea Smith, Adam Nelson and Joel Rye, Jr. and many, many more wonderful and caring relatives. Linda was an animal lover. She raised, trained and bred horses for over 35 years. She also bred dogs, birds and many other animals. Linda loved baseball, fishing, gardening and many other hobbies. She will be missed considerably. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery # 3.
