May 19, 1984 — April 27, 2014
Leonel "Baby Leo & Me-mo" Rodriguez, born on May 19, 1984, in New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on April 27, 2014, in Seguin, Texas, at the age of 29. He was a free spirited, loving, funny, creative artist with a huge heart. Leo was also the life of every party, friendliest, craziest, funniest guy ever, and could out drink anybody! Known as "The Handyman" and "Mr. I can fix that," Leo was always ready to lend a helping hand. He was a skilled tiler, landscaper, exterior decorator, and tattoo artist, who was full of wonderful ideas. Leo loved being outdoors, at the river, or his favorite place, Canyon Lake, fishing until the sun set. He loved everyone like family and always greeted you with a huge hug and kiss on the cheek or forehead, and he loved, and was totally awesome with children. Known as the "Biggest, Littlest, Mama's Boy," Leo never missed a Cowboy's Game with her and would do anything for her. His uncle, Raymundo Rodriguez, and his Madrina, Mary De La Cruz, preceded him in death. Survivors include his mother, Angela Perez; sisters, Rachel Rodriguez and Lainey Salinas; nephews, Tristen Rodriguez & Jayden Morales; grandparents, Ramon & Oralia Perez, and Pablo Rodriguez, Sr.; his best friend, boss, and brother, Danny Chauret; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Schertz Funeral Home, at 2:00PM, with a rosary and Celebration of Leo's Life to begin at 3:00PM. All services will conclude in the chapel.
