Leo Goodspeed

May 11, 1936 — August 2, 2012

Leo S. Goodspeed was born in McAlester, Oklahoma, May 11, 1936 and passed away August 2, 2012. Leo served twenty years in the United States Army, and after serving two tours in Vietnam and one tour in Korea he retired at the rank of E-8. Leo is survived by four children Henry Goodspeed, Helen Burkett, Monika Marrs, Cathy Earnest, and seven grandchildren, Floyd Burkett II, Adam Burkett, Christopher Burkett, Dusty Goodspeed, Sean Goodspeed, Tyler Earnest, and Carly Earnest. As well as three great grandchildren, Elijah, Lily and Madison Gonzales. Leo is also survived by three sisters, Helen Armstron, Mary Giandroni, Margaret Nally, and one brother, Bernard Goodspeed. His internment will be August 16th, 10:30am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
