Lenora Thompson

Lenora G Thompson, born April 7, 1941, Ft. Pierce, FL, passed away on April 10, 2019 in New Braunfels, TX at the age of 78. Lenora is preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Rosa Emma Gilliam, brother, Henry Gilliam, and sisters, Winifred G. Keebe and Wanda Gilliam. She is survived by her husband, Jacob A Thompson, Sr, son Jacob A Thompson, Jr (daughter in law, Monika); grandchildren Darius Thompson, Nicholas Thompson, Aubriana Thompson and Jacob A. Thompson, III; sisters, Blondell Wilcher and Ruth James, brother, Ronald Gilliam, Kenneth Gilliam, Jimmy Gilliam, and Benjamin Gilliam. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, former students, and cherished friends. Lenora was a High School Business Education teacher for 32 years in Fort Pierce, FL. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, April 18, 2019, 1:00pm, at the Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church, 16245 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78247, with the interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
