Leeman Tischler
December 22, 1929 — October 14, 2013
Our dad Leeman Gottlieb Gottfried Tischler (Paw-Paw) passed into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on Monday, October 14, 2013. He was born on December 22, 1929 to Erick & Annie (Witzsche) Tischler in Mills County, TX. He was 83 years young. He proudly served for over 21 years in the U.S. Air Force and was a Viet Nam veteran and then another 25 years working at the Federal Reserve Bank in San Antonio, TX. Tisch, as he was known to friends, always wore a smile on his face, with a friendly wave and had a cheerful disposition, he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, but he will be remembered forever in our hearts. He is preceeded in death by his wife Myrtle Alice, both parents, his brother Glenn Trischler, & son-in-law Roland Blakeman. He is survived by his loving daughters: Garnet Blakeman, Debra Biegert (Jiggs), grand-children: Cheryl Mitchan (Darrell), Brian Blakeman (Carol), Christopher Blakeman (Shannon), Lee Biegert, & Stacey Sharron (Neill). Great-grandchildren: Austin & Bryten Mitchan, Madelyn & Benjamin Blakeman, Emilie Biegert, Colton & Corbin Sharron. Step great-grandchildren: Brandon Mitchan & Mason Daly. His brother and sisters Leona Leach, James Earl Tischler (Betty), Shirley Banks, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. We also want to thank all the wonderful loving caregivers at Silver Tree Nursing Facility and the Seasons Hospice that took such excellent care of our dad during his illness. Their patience and understanding helped us so very much during this difficult time.
