Larry Winton Stanuga

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Larry Winton Stanuga, aged 82, of San Antonio, TX, who passed away on October 23rd at home, peacefully in his sleep.

Larry was born on February 12, 1942 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was the beloved son of John Frank Stanuga and Geneva Lennier Campbell. After serving his country in the Air Force, he retired in San Antonio, Texas as a Technical Sergeant. Larry is remembered fondly for his love of cooking, western movies, a good book and his dad jokes!

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Stanuga. Larry is survived by his daughter, Mary-Jean Stanuga and his son, Scott Stanuga, as well as 6 grandchildren, Ashley, Dakota, Quentine, Damian, Brodie, and Lars, and will also be dearly missed by extended family and friends.

Services will be held at Fort Sam Cemetery on November 18th at 10:45am, Shelter #4. Friends and family are invited to attend to honor and remember Larry. 

Larry will be remembered for his loving heart and his kind generosity to those in need.
