Kevin Leahy

Kevin Joseph Leahy was born January 3, 1957 in Fort Ord, California to parents, Arthur Edward and Darlene Ellen (Dunn) Leahy. He passed away March 7, 2020 in Live Oak, Texas.

In his young adult life, Kevin was a Marine before beginning his career as a demolitionist. He loved the Texas coast, motorcycles and was an avid gun and knife enthusiast. Most of all, Kevin loved spending time with his family. He had many friends and was important to a lot of people. He loved many but, was loved by more.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Darlene Leahy, and brother, Patrick Allen Leahy. He is survived by his wife, Regina Leahy; stepchildren, Joshua Gutierrez, Devin Gutierrez, Caleb Gutierrez and Christerfer Gutierrez; 8 grandchildren; brother, Mike Leahy with wife Gail; sister in law, Kathryn Brown; nieces, Savannah O’Grady and Jessica E with husband Bob; nephews, Nokolai J. Leahy, Kevin C. Leahy, Mason Mills, Gage O’Grady and Raiden Brown.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:15PM on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery - Shelter 2.
