Kermit Theis

Kermit Norman Theis, born October 18, 1937, went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2017. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Kermit touched the lives of everyone he encountered. Kermit was an avid hunter, golfer, and faithful servant of the Lord. He loved to laugh, was entertainingly funny, served the Church, sang in the choir, and was completely devoted to his wife, family, and friends. Kermit is preceded in death by August and Norma Theis (parents), June McMichael (sister) and Lee Ann McMichael (niece).

Kermit is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Cathie Theis; His daughter Jill (Rob) Cooper; His son, Bryan (Adriana) Theis; His brother Bob (Sandra) Theis; His many grand-children, great-grand-children, nephews, and cousins; and his beloved dog, Priscilla Ann.

Visitation will be on February 8, 2017, from 5pm - 8pm at Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 FM 3009, Schertz, TX.

Funeral Services will be held on February 9, 2017, at 8am at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1129 Pat Booker Rd., Universal City, TX with follow-on interment at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church.
