Kenneth White

Kenneth Eugene White born on June 13, 1931 to David and Stella White, passed away on July 2, 2019 at the age of 88. Kenneth proudly served in the United States Air Force for 20 years during the Korea War. Once retired from the Air Force he went on to work as a security guard at the San Antonio Zoo before retiring in 1991.Kenneth was married to Ellen (Teo) Carley until her passing in May of 1991. He is survived by his four children, Shelene Reed, Carey White and wife Terri, Colleen Noriega and Cynthia Peterson; six grandchildren, who will serve as pallbearers, Patrick Reed and wife Emily, Kenneth “Duke” White and wife Patty, Jacob White and wife Dianna, William White, Christopher Peterson and wife Catie and Brian Peterson; 15 great-grandchildren, Trevor, James, Jacob, Caden, Harleigh, Memphis, Wyatt, Logan, Chris Rene, Andy, Anthony, Peyton, Christian, Annaliza, Dante and one on the way; sister, Ruth Carroll from Ohio and numerous nephews and nieces.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 9:00AM – 11:00AM with the Funeral Service to begin at 11:00AM at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with United States Air Force Military Honors.
