Kenneth Fischer

Kenneth H. Fischer, beloved Husband, Father and Friend to many, passed away peacefully at his home in Schertz, Texas on November 1, 2014. Born in Concord, New Hampshire, Ken (Fish) had a love of music at an early age. While traveling coast to coast, he met his wife Karen in Port Aransas, Texas on his 20th Birthday. They were married in Marion, Texas and moved to Vail, Colorado in 1976. During their time in Vail, they welcomed their daughter, Harmony Klara and son, Dylan Zachary. They later moved to their Texas family farm in 1990, where they welcomed a second daughter, Melody Winter Pearl. Throughout his years, Kenneth enjoyed many hobbies including playing hockey, playing the guitar, and working in construction. He went on to be a professional mandolin player, a serious guitar collector, luthier and a full time Yankee cowboy. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Waymond and mother, Mildred. He is survived by his wife, Karen Marx of Schertz, Texas; daughter, Harmony Coronado and husband, Chaz Coronado of Selma, Texas; son, Dylan of Austin, Texas; daughter, Melody of Denton, Texas; siblings, Linda Yale of Arizona, Ronald of New Mexico, Joni Cash and spouse Mike Cash of Arizona, James of New Hampshire, Cathy of New Hampshire; grandson, Charles Corondo (Xan); nieces, Melinda, Jessica, Melissa, Amy and Brittney; nephews, Patrick and John; grandniece, Adrianna; and grandnephew, Evan. "The Fish Man Memorial" will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 4:00 PM until 12:00 AM at Moose's Food Court located at 1112 S. State Highway 46, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donation may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.
