Kenneth Bieszk

September 23, 1948 — May 11, 2017

Kenneth (Kenny) Richard Bieszk was born September 23, 1948 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was the son of Blanche (Biesada) Bieszk and Frank Bieszk. He spent his younger years in Milwaukee where he enjoyed swimming in Lake Michigan and being with his friends. He was on the gymnastic team at Bay View High School where he earned many honors as an excellent gymnast. Upon graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corps. He received many awards and several distinguished honors to include expert marksman. During his Marine Corps service he served two tours of duty in Vietnam.

After his Marine Corps service, he returned to Milwaukee. Along with having a full time job, he enrolled in a junior college where he studied commercial art and got his Associate Degree in Commercial Art.

In 1980 after the death of his mother and the loss of his job, he moved to San Antonio, Texas to be near his sister Bernice Wright. In 1981 he met the love of his life. He and Janie were together 36 years.

Kenny served as a Texas Peace Officer (police officer) for 26 years in two different departments-Hollywood Park Police Department and North East ISD Police Department.

Kenny was an amazing artist. He was passionate perfectionist when it came to doing charcoal portraits of people's beloved pets as well as portraits of people. In 1996 he and Janie began a journey into the art and craft world. He made the most beautiful unique crosses. He and Janie enjoyed 22 years of doing art and craft shows while maintaining full time jobs. He and Janie felt this was an opportunity to profess their faith and share their talents with so many people. He felt such pride when people complimented him on his talent. Along with these talents he, Janie and Tim found time to feed the homeless in downtown San Antonio on a frequent basis.

Kenny passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 11, 2017. He is now at home. He is survived by his life long Janie, his stepdaughter Kimberly Davalos and her husband Doug, stepson Tim Droemer, grandchildren Daylan Davalos, Danielle Davalos and Desi Davalos, children Wendy and David from a former marriage, sister Bernice Wright, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, and his loving and faithful furbaby companions Rusty and Ricky.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his infant daughter Lisa, and brothers Jerry Bieszk and Ray Bieszk.

Kenny lived a full life and was a jovial, kind and generous man. He was a devoted Christian. All who knew him loved him deeply. He will be sorely missed.
