Kazuko Risley

November 10, 1928 — December 3, 2012

Kazuko Kay Yasumura Risley entered rest on Monday, December 3, 2012, at the age of 84. A resident of San Antonio, Kay had previously lived for many years in Universal City. She was born in Kyoto, Japan, on November 10, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Risley, Sr,; son Charles Risley, Jr.; daughter Anna Ragland; and son "in-law, Smith Eugene Wright. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law June and Jimmie Loocke; son and daughter-in-law Paul and Connie Risley; son and daughter-in-law John and Ronda Risley; son Harris Risley; son-in-law James Ragland; and daughter-in-law Betty Risley. She is also survived by grandsons Charles Wright; Christopher Wright and wife, Chassidy; Dub Ragland; and Joseph Ragland; as well as granddaughter Jacqueline Risley. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Madelaine Rose Wright, Jaden Ragland, and Katie Ragland; her sisters Tosiko Ikemoto and Yasuko Sugiyama; and numerous other relatives in Japan. Kay was a loving wife and mother who truly gave everything she had for her family. She will be greatly missed. Services will be private. Interment will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
