Judy Wilks
December 20, 1948 — July 10, 2012
Judy Ann (Mangum) Wilks went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the age of 63. She was a graduate of MacArthur High School class of 1967. Judy was a member of First Baptist Church of Universal City since 2006. She was preceded in death by her father, Col (USAF Ret) James W. Mangum. Judy is survived by her mother, Bobbie Mangum; husband of 41 years, George Wilks, daughter Kimberly Jo Walker; son, Kevin Michael Wilks; and her precious granddaughter, Halle Mackenna Walker, all from the Cibolo/Schertz area. She is also survived by three sisters: Barbara Westmoreland and husband, Boyce of Waco; Jo Raher and husband, Bill of Fort Worth; and Donna Howe and husband, Tom of San Antonio; nieces and nephews: Jamie Glinski and husband Robert of Waco; Jody Westmoreland and wife Paula of Hatton, ND; Brian Raher and Pam of Saginaw, Texas; Sarah Howe and husband Gary Fletcher of San Antonio; and Thomas Howe, Jr. of Austin; and great nieces and nephews: Reagan and Rori Glinski; Bailey and Skylar Westmoreland; James and Tyler Raher; and Presley and Dylan Fletcher. Pallbearers are cousins; Doug Moore, Benbrook, Texas; Steve Kirk, Fort Worth; Jason Cheney, San Antonio; nephews Brian Raher, Thomas Howe, Reagan Glinski; and Christopher Walker, San Antonio. Visitation will be at Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 FM 3009, Schertz, Texas on Tuesday, July 17, from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. Services, conducted by Chaplain Jeremy Roy, will be held at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 18, at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:45am. Family and friends are invited to meet at the Mangum home following the burial.
