Judith Lorraine Gladu was born to Harold & Ruth Peterson on February 17, 1939 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She passed away on September 20, 2008 at the age of 69. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ruth Peterson, brother, Harold Peterson and sisters, Sharon & Anne Peterson. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry W. Gladu, Cibolo; sons, Vincent Gladu, Centennial, CO, Michael Gladu & wife, Leslie, Cibolo, Phillip & wife, Nancy, Englewood, Co, Victor Gladu, Englewood, Co, David Gladu & wife, Amy, Englewood, CO and Tony, Englewood, CO; daughter, Anne Gladu, Centennial, CO; sister, Carol Marion, Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Derrick, Brian, Jovina, Nicole, Michael Jr., Cassandra, Heather, Renee, Caryl, Hope, Phillip, Faith, Samantha, Jared, Ariana, Stephanie & Rachel; great-grandsons, Daniel & Jakob and additional nieces, nephews, other relatives & dear friends. She was an extremely loving lady and her door was always open. Judiths family was her world. She was so proud of all of her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She had a special place in her heart for all the youth in every community she was a part of. Her accomplishments include: president of Falcon Youth Football League, Highlands Ranch, CO, Vice-President of Corona, CA Youth Baseball Association, Board of Directors of Jefferson County Football Association, religious education teacher at numerous locations, Treasurer and Secretary of the Knights of Columbus Colorado State Ladies Auxiliary, Past President, of the Ladies Auxiliary Council #10205 in Centennial, CO and the Past Chief Ranger of Independent Order of Forresters. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM (with a Rosary being Recited at 7:00 PM) on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. A Mass will be Celebrated at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Gregory J. Nevlud officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
