Judith Cardenas

Judith “Judi” Cardenas born on January 31, 1958 passed away surrounded by her family on August 3, 2019 at the age of 61. Judi graduated from Robert G. Cole High School. She was known for her kind spirit, always helping those around her and for her infectious smile that could light up a room. Judi had a passion for music; she was self-taught on the piano and guitar and she was often found singing for fun or entertaining those around her. Judi was preceded in death by her father, Rafael Cardenas. She is survived by her mother, Paula Cardenas; siblings, Rafael Cardenas Jr., Angel “ Surefoot” Cardenas, Carmen Thomas Harris and husband Kent, Maria Cardenas; many nieces and nephews, her beloved cat, Gizmo.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM with the Funeral Service to begin at 5:00 PM at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials donations be made in her name to the San Antonio’s Animal Humane Society.
