Joyce N. Standley , born on July 25, 1937, passed away on February 22, 2018 at the age of 80. Joyce is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vernon E. Standley . She is survived by her children, daughter Helen Simecek and husband Roger, daughter Patricia Riggs, daughter June McCaleb and husband Larry, daughter Mary Rodriguez and husband Phillip, son James Riggs, Jr. and wife Jean, and daughter Bobbie Fowler and husband Ronny, along with 23 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Sanford, Patsy Martinez. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 3:00PM-7:00PM at Schertz Funeral Home. The graveside service will take place on March 13, 2018 at 9:30AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
