Joyce Snowden

Joyce M. Snowden, born on April 6, 1932 in San Angelo, TX, passed away on November 26, 2017 at the age of 85. Joyce worked for the Marion School District as an Administrative Assistant for more than 25 years. She had a passion for animals and often took in strays when they needed food and care. Joyce spent her free time gardening and enjoying her close friends and family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Snowden. Joyce is survived by her daughter Merleann Babyak and husband David Babyak; granddaughter, Zoey Babyak. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 4:30PM-8:30PM at the Schertz Funeral Home. The Funeral service will be on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 9:30AM at the Schertz Funeral Home with a reception at 11:30 at St. John Lutheran Church, Marion, TX. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Bulverde Area Humane Society.
