Joseph Brookens Iii

Joseph Sidney Brookens III born on August 31, 1948, passed away on December 3, 2018 at the age of 70. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne M Brookens; daughter, Sidney Renee Brookens; son, Michael DuJuan Brookens. Grandkids, Jaylen, Natalia, Myles, and Zyon Brookens; sisters, Florence Eaton, Tina & husband Jay Johnson and Brother Mark Brookens; sister in laws Judy & husband Michael Burke and Joyce Kimble along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a retired Smsgt in the Air Force, who loved to play golf and an avid bowler. He loved all types of music, to make fun of and picked on all people who knew and those he just met. He loved his children, grandchildren but mostly the love of his life his wife of 49 years. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 9:30 AM at Resurrection Baptist Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors.
