John Sousa

John Douglas Sousa, born on March 4, 1938 in Stoneham, MA, passed away on April 10, 2016 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 78. He is preceded in death by his wives Beverly Sousa and Young Sousa, also 2 children Dennis and Darrel Sousa. John is survived by sons Daniel Sousa and Mike Buckner; daughter Lori Sousa Roberts; siblings Frank Sousa and Ruth Mesecher; also 6 grandchildren and 1 great- grandchild. He served his country in the United States Air Force after which he worked in management for Diebold Incorporated. After his career with Diebold he went on to help the Judson School District and the Schertz School District. A Memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Wil Deahl from the Cross Point Fellowship Church on Friday, April 22, 2016, 3:00pm at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel.
