John Gormley

July 16, 1942 — October 30, 2010

It is with great sadness that Johns loving wife, Ann, announces the passing of her husband on October 30, 2010 at the young age of 68. John Thompson Gormley was born on July 16, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Michael Joseph & Margaret Gormley. John is survived by his wife, Ann, of 39 years, daughters Kim Habermehl (Tom), Dawn Jones (Randy), son John Kevin Gormley, brother Charlie and sisters Patti and Rita. Leaving behind 5 grandchildren, Tamara Friday (Clint), Amber Brown (Aaron), Natasha Jones, Stephen Jones, Jaxon Gormley and great-grandchildren Bryce Friday, Ryan Friday, Isabella Brown, and Aliyah Jones. John was an amazing human being that was full of love and laughter. He will never be forgotten to those who have been graced with his presence. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. The service will be held on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel.
