John Frees

August 17, 1953 — July 17, 2013

John Earl Frees loving husband, son, brother and friend entered into rest July 17, 2013. Formerly from Morse, Louisiana, John attended University of South Louisiana and Aviation Technology Schools. He was a Certified Pilot and a United States Air Force Veteran. Later, he became a Field Service Representative for Hawker Beech Aviation. John is preceded in death by his parents Ellis and Beulah (Labit) Frees. He is survived by his wife, Francesca G. Frees; son, Michael Salinas; sister, Earleen Ruonavaara and husband, Jerry; grandchildren, Michael Salinas, II and Mikayla Salinas. A visitation will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 12:00PM with Funeral Service to follow at 2:00PM. A second visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock, Texas, Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 6:00PM-8:00PM with a Funeral Service on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 1:00PM the Interment will immediately follow at Peaceful Garden, Woodrow, Texas.
