John Ayala Jr. (November 18, 1954- June 28, 2012) John Ayala Jr., of San Antonio went to be with our Lord on Thursday June 28, 2012 at the age of 57. Born on November 18, 1954 in Uvalde, TX. John was preceded in death by his parents Pura Lafuente Ayala and John Ayala Sr.. He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Stephenson Ayala of San Antonio, his sons Johnafun Ayala and Michael Ayala both of San Antonio; step daughter Christina Laumer of Dallas; his two sisters Romie Ayala Perez of Uvalde, TX and Marie Ayala Contreras and her husband Oscar of Sabinal, TX; six grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; extended family and many friends. In his early years John served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from the University of Texas Health Science Center Of San Antonio after twenty-five years of service. He was a successful business owner of Turf Tech Sprinklers and Lawn. John lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed flying, motorcycling, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, from 8:15AM until 9:30AM at the Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 F.M. 3009, Schertz, Texas with a Service of Remembrance to begin at 9:30AM on Tuesday.
