Jesus Fierro

June 1, 1923 — February 17, 2014

Jesus M. Fierro, born on June 1, 1923, passed away in Converse, TX on February 17, 2014, at the age of 90. Jesus is preceded in death by his wife, Josefina Fierro; son, Guillermo; parents, Jesus and Concepcion Fierro; brothers, Raul, Enrique, Armando, and Arturo; sisters, Gloria, Socorro, and Elisa, and grandson Isaac C.. Guzman. He is survived by his children Luz E. Segura, Rosalia Martinez, Veronica Guzman, Jesus F. Fierro and Miguel A. Fierro. He also has 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Esplanade Gardens and Vitas Hospice for the excellent care they gave Mr. Fierro. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 9:00am to 1:00pm, with a Celebration of Life service to be conducted at 11:00am, at the Schertz Funeral Home.
